Anthony F. Caletka Joins PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Managing Director in the Capital Projects & Infrastructure Practice
Caletka brings PwC over 23 years of program, project and construction management service experience across all industries on large scale capital projects
NEW YORK, April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) announced today that Anthony F. Caletka has joined the firm as a managing director in the Capital Projects & Infrastructure (CP&I) practice in New York. With over 23 years of consultative experience in the engineering procurement and construction (EPC) industry, he will advise PwC clients on large scale capital projects across many areas including evaluation of project cost and schedule control systems and procedures; development of risk analysis and risk management strategies during project execution; and contract administration support, oversight and guidance. He will also advise clients in developing and applying contract packaging and procurement strategies.
Mr. Caletka is internationally recognized in Critical Path Method (CPM) project planning and is a Certified Construction Manager with the Construction Management Association of American (CMAA). His experience crosses many industries, asset classes and project types including: airports, ports and harbors, dams, hydroelectric, nuclear, roads, water/wastewater, train-car (rolling stock) manufacturing, healthcare, schools, and stadium and entertainment. Mr. Caletka also has extensive experience in forensics analysis and dispute resolution – he has provided expert evidence in litigation and arbitration on many occasions, is experienced in CPM Scheduling and co-authored some of the leading text and protocols on Forensic Delay Analysis.

Previously, Mr. Caletka held senior positions at Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation and O'Brien Kreitzberg Inc. and was Company Secretary and Principal of Consulting Services for URS Corporation's Construction Services group based in London. Prior to that, he owned and operated a construction consulting firm in London. He has worked on a wide array of project delivery strategies including those associated with Private Finance Initiative/Public Private Partnerships, Design-Build-Finance-Operate, Construction Management-At-Risk, and Guaranteed Maximum Price contracts. He has also provided conflict resolution services to the legal industry as a subject matter expert on construction related issues.

Mr. Caletka earned his B.S. degree in engineering from Syracuse University/SUNY ESF and is an Adjunct Professor at NYU-Poly where he teaches graduate level courses on project management and CPM Scheduling. He is an active speaker at conferences and co-authored the book "Delay Analysis in Construction Contracts" (Wiley 2008).
