Animoto's Commitment to Empowering Female Business Owners
Last year Animoto partnered with The Female Entrepreneurship Association for a survey around how female business owners are using social media. 98 percent of respondents reported using Facebook for marketing, while only 48 percent reported feeling confident that they could create high-performing content for that platform. The Social Marketing for Women in Business Event is emblematic of Animoto's strong commitment to empowering more female entrepreneurs to succeed with video marketing.
It's evident more female entrepreneurs are partaking in video marketing than ever. When surveyed, 81% planned to create a marketing video within the next six months. 31% of respondents had already created a marketing video for Facebook in the last six months.
"Animoto as an organization is committed to building a culture of diversity. In 2017, we onboarded over 20 new employees, 50% of which were women. This is an atypical ratio for the tech world. The diversity we strive to have within our organization enables us to better serve the broad range of customers that come to Animoto for our video marketing product and our social media expertise," said Michelle Leirer, VP of People, Animoto.
