Andrews Federal Credit Union Assists Members During Pandemic

SUITLAND, Md., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Andrews Federal Credit Union is providing relief for its members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite rapid changes in the economy, the Credit Union remains open and available to serve its members. Drive-thru locations are open regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 12 PM – 4 PM, and in-person lobby appointments are available by request.

For members that are struggling financially due to the coronavirus, Andrews Federal is waiving penalty fees, providing loans, extensions, and deferred payments. Some members may even qualify for a Relief Assistance Loan, which allows members to borrow up to $5,000 at 0% APR (Annual Percentage Rate) during the first 90 days.

Members with existing loans may skip up to two consecutive months of payments without incurring a fee or penalty. Plus, the Credit Unions all-new digital banking platform allows its members to complete transactions without ever having to leave the house. And, for its members that want to speak to a human, the Andrews Federal call center remains open 24/7.

Plus, the Credit Unions partnership with the CO-OP ATM network provides its members with 30,000+ no-fee ATMS, worldwide. No-fee ATMS are available at convenient locations, including 7-Eleven, Costco, Dunkin Donuts, and more. An ATM locator can be found on the Andrews Federal website.

Andrews Federal is also taking steps to avoid the spread of germs when it comes to banking at ATMs and through drive-thrus. They are sanitizing employee and member contact points hourly and offering hand sanitizer.
