American Sports Network Names Ibra Morales Vice President, Operations And Todd Siegel Vice President, Sales
BALTIMORE, March 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- American Sports Network ("ASN"), a division of Sinclair Networks Group, which is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI), announced that Ibra Morales has been named Vice President, Operations and Todd Siegel has been named Vice President, Sales for ASN. The announcement was made by Doron Gorshein, Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair Networks Group.
In making the announcement regarding Mr. Morales, Mr. Gorshein said, "We are excited to welcome Ibra on board. Ibra has an extensive background in the broadcast industry and is widely recognized for his leadership, innovative skills, business acumen, and managerial experience with a proven ability to drive revenue and profit growth which we believe will be an asset as we continue to grow ASN's national presence."

Mr. Morales most recently and since 2014 served as President/CEO of MundoMax, a joint venture of 21st Century Fox and RCN Television Group. From 2009 to 2014, he was the SVP National Marketing and Local Media for KatzTV Group; a division of Clear Channel. Prior to that and since 2002, he served as President of the Stations Group for Telemundo Group, Inc. and from 1999 to 2002, he was the President of Eagle Television Sales, a subsidiary of Katz Media/Clear Channel Group. Mr. Morales has held various sales positions including SVP Sales for Hearst-Argyle Television; EVP Sales, Corporate Office, for Argyle Television; and General Sales Manager for Katz Media. Mr. Morales graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Miami Dade Community College in Miami, FL.
Mr. Siegel most recently and since 2015 served as Executive Vice President, Sales for Ipowow. Prior to that and from 2004, he held various positions at FOX Broadcasting Company including EVP, International Advertising Sales for FOX International Channels; EVP, Integrated Sales and Marketing for FOX Sports Media Group; EVP, Advertising Sales for FOX Cable Sports Sales; and Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales for SPEED. From 2001 to 2004, he served as the Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Research at Screenvision Cinema Advertising, and from 1998 to 2001, he was the Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, at Discovery Communications, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Siegel held various sales positions including Vice President, Advertising Sales at MTV Networks; Vice President Eastern Region Advertising Sales for NBC Cable; and Vice President, Sales Manager, Eastern Region Advertising Sales for Turner Broadcasting. Mr. Siegel graduated with a bachelor's degree in Government from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
