American Restaurant Concepts, Inc. Announces Franchise Incentives to Support America's Veterans
Company to waive franchise fees for America's military veterans in furtherance of the Veterans Job Corps initiative
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- American Restaurant Concepts, Inc. (OTCBB: ANPZ), the owner, operator and franchisor of Dick's Wings & Grill® restaurants, announced today that it is temporarily waiving its up-front franchise fees for qualified veterans to assist in opening Dick's Wings restaurants.
In his recent State of the Union address, the President called for a new Veterans Job Corps initiative to aid America's returning veterans in finding pathways to civilian employment. Typically, American Restaurant Concepts, Inc. will collect a franchise fee upon the opening of a new Dick's Wings® concept, but with this new program, the Company will offer veterans an incentive to franchise with one of their turnkey models – Dick's Wings & Grill®, a 4,000–square-foot, full-service restaurant, or Dick's Wings Express®, a 1,200 to 1,500–square-foot express restaurant.
"We are pleased to offer America's military heroes an opportunity to become part of the Dick's Wings® team," stated Michael Rosenberger, CEO of American Restaurant Concepts and a U.S. military veteran. "Military personnel play a very important role in preserving the freedom of this nation, and we felt it incumbent upon ourselves to do more for our veterans, especially in light of the President's recent initiatives. We believe that waiving the franchise fees for our veterans will enable more of America's heroes to open a Dick's Wings® concept and ultimately return to the civilian job market. We look forward to working with America's military veterans and remain grateful for the service they render."
