TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fifteen suppliers to American Honda have received the company's 2015 Premier Partner Award from Executive Vice President John Mendel in a special ceremony today in Torrance, Calif. This year's recipients were selected from a pool of more than 1,000 eligible companies based on excellence in quality, value and customer service.
Premier Partner Award recipients play a unique role in supporting Honda businesses and operations, including Honda and Acura automobiles, automobile engines and transmissions, Honda all-terrain vehicles, power equipment products, general purpose engines and the HondaJet advanced light jet. Seven of the 15 recipients are repeat winners.
"We ask all Honda suppliers to join us in prioritizing the end customer above all," said Charles Harmon, American Honda's senior manager of procurement and corporate services. "This year's Premier Partner Award recipients have risen to that challenge and are critical members of the extended Honda family."
