To kick off its Now Hiring Future Heroes campaign, developed in conjunction with CareerBuilder®, AGLA will embark on a 10-day cross-country road tour – the AGLA Hiring Drive – in September, which is also Life Insurance Awareness Month. A branded AGLA Hiring Drive Tour Bus will stop in 15 cities from Baltimore, Md. to Los Angeles, Calif. to solicit on-site applications from interested job seekers. Both entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to attend events in their city and apply.
"It is so exciting that, despite the tough economic conditions of the last few years, AGLA can make the statement that our company is strong. We have made marked strides in growing our sales force over the past few years, and we're in a solid position to continue that significant growth," says Jim Mallon, President and CEO. "This is a huge opportunity for anyone looking for a rewarding employment opportunity. Our affordable, innovative Quality of Life…Insurance has seen wonderful acceptance since it was launched five years ago. It's a family of products that directly meet the multiple insurance needs of America's middle income consumers and Main Street small business owners. The timely relevance and value of these products is evidenced by the fact that we have seen tremendous success in such a short time, in spite of the most difficult economic environment our country has faced in decades."
Job seekers will want to have their resumes at-the-ready. The AGLA Hiring Drive Tour Bus will stop in approximately two cities each day for 10 days beginning September 27 through October 6:
- September 27: Baltimore, Md. & Philadelphia, Pa.
- September 28: Pittsburgh, Pa. & Cleveland, Ohio
- September 29: Lexington, Ky. & Nashville, Tenn.
- September 30: Birmingham, Ala. & Atlanta, Ga.
- October 1: Orlando, Fla. & Tampa, Fla.
- October 2: Mobile, Ala. & New Orleans, La.
- October 3: Houston, Tex. & Dallas, Tex.
- October 6: Los Angeles, Calif.
Through the AGLA Hiring Drive, and the on-going Now Hiring Future Heroes campaign, AGLA is seeking to hire both full and part-time agents to educate consumers on the Quality of Life…Insurance product. After an initial paid training period, compensation is commission-based with excellent bonus potential, a full benefits package, and tuition assistance for industry-related training.
In addition to a possible new career, job seekers will have an opportunity at each Hiring Drive event to speak directly with current AGLA sales agents and managers, enjoy refreshments, and even register to win an Apple iPad.
"We all know that the job application process can be tough. Our goal is to make this as fun and exciting as we can, not only to make the process a little less painful, but also to give a glimpse into the type of company we are. We're not your typical life insurance provider – we're an energized group of sales professionals who love what we do, and believe in our product," says Scott German, Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer.
In support of the coast-to-coast road tour, AGLA local offices across the country will host separate AGLA Hiring Drive events in their cities beginning September 27. Job candidates can learn more about the AGLA Hiring Drive, view a complete job description as well as a list of local office locations, and submit their resumes at www.hiringheroes.com.
