New Office Space Allows Greater Cooperation Between Carriers
SHANGHAI, July 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines today announced that it will be relocating its sales and marketing offices in Shanghai on July 11.
"By locating our Shanghai office in Huaihai Plaza, we will be able to work more closely with our oneworld® partner, Japan Airlines, (JAL). This will enhance our abilities to work on the newly-implemented Pacific Joint Business that began on April 1," said Victor Lee, American's Regional Director – Greater China.
American's new Shanghai office will house 15 employees who are responsible for sales and marketing in China, and working closely with JAL, which offers daily direct services from Tokyo's Narita International Airport to Shanghai Pu Dong International Airport, as well as between Haneda Airport in downtown Tokyo and Shangahi Hongqiao International Airport. American flies nonstop once each day to Shanghai from its cornerstone cities of Chicago and Los Angeles.
American's new office will be located on the 7th floor of Huaihai Plaza on Huaihai Zhong Road. It is a five minute walk to both Line 1 and Line 10 Shanki Road South Stations.
