AMB Property Corporation® Pre-Leases 563,100 SF in Brazil
First Phase of Sao Paulo Project is 88 Percent Pre-Leased to Two Global Customers
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- AMB Property Corporation® (NYSE: AMB) a leading owner, operator and developer of global industrial real estate, today announced leases in Brazil totaling 563,100 square feet (52,310 square meters) including a 404,200 square foot (37,550 square meter) build-to-suit with a leading global logistics company. A second customer signed a lease for 158,900 square feet (14,760 square meters) in the adjacent building to be used for dedicated distribution and logistics activities.

"There is significant demand for Class A logistics facilities in the Sao Paulo metro area, as a wide range of manufacturing and retail customers need space to service a rapidly growing consumer market. The park is ideally located for regional distribution facilities serving this market and we are pleased to welcome our first customers in Brazil."
AMB CCP Cajamar Industrial Park, including buildings 300 and 400, which combined are approximately 639,300 square feet (59,400 square meters), is expected to total approximately 1.9 million square feet (175,670 square meters) at full build-out. The project, a joint venture with Cyrela Commercial Properties (CCP), is located in the Cajamar submarket, nearby Rodoanel Ring Road and 13 kilometers from central Sao Paulo.
