Alinean to Expand In The City of Orlando
Adding 10 New Jobs Downtown
ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Alinean, the leading creator of value-based interactive sales and marketing tools for B2B vendors, today announced it will expand its employee base with at least 10 new hires over the next two years and lease additional new headquarters office space in downtown Orlando. With the assistance of the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission (EDC), Alinean has been approved to receive incentives from the city of Orlando and state of Florida through the Qualified Target Industry Tax Refunds (QTI) to expand its operations in the city of Orlando.
"It is great to see local investment and job creation in this challenging economy," said Brian Walters, executive vice president of the Metro Orlando EDC. "We are proud that Alinean continues to call Central Florida home and we greatly appreciate their contribution to the region's economy."
Alinean was founded in 2001 and its first office was located at the UCF Technology Incubator. The company expanded into Research Park in 2002 and then moved to downtown Orlando in 2005. With the approval of these incentives, Alinean will expand within the City of Orlando and remain a part of the downtown core.
"Developing interactive tools for some of the leading B2B firms requires that we attract and motivate a creative and technical work force, and our headquarters needs to be in a vibrant location," says Tom Pisello, Chairman and Founder of Alinean. "Through collaboration with the Metro Orlando EDC, this package of incentives will help Alinean settle into our new downtown core headquarters and add key business analysts, application developers, and sales professionals to our team."
Alinean develops value-based interactive demand generation and sales enablement tools, empowering leading B2B solution providers to better prove and improve the value of solutions to increasingly frugal prospects and customers. Today's buyers are more conservative than ever, a trend termed Frugalnomics, demanding that any investment made drive tangible savings and provide quantified business advantages. Alinean helps B2B vendors fight Frugalnomics with interactive sales and marketing tools to prove to buyers the bottom-line impact and value of proposed solutions.
