Alinean Achieves Record Growth in 2010
Adds More Than 20 New Clients, 15% Increase in Revenue and Key Executive Hires
ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Alinean, the leading creator of value-based interactive sales and marketing tools for B2B vendors, today announced record growth in 2010, adding more than twenty new clients and increasing revenue by more than 15%. New client additions included Autodesk, BMC Software, CSC, CiRBA, Informatica, MessageSystems, PGI, Rackspace and ShoreTel.
To meet this record growth, Alinean relocated and expanded its headquarters to the landmark One Eleven building in downtown Orlando and expanded its management team with four new vice presidents: Steve Thomas, VP of Finance & Business Operations; Peter Brooks, VP, Professional Services; Johanna Rivard, VP, Demand Center and Sales Operations; and Dan Sixsmith, VP Channel Development. For 2011, Alinean plans to continue expansion plans by adding at least seven new team members.
"Because of persistent boom-bust cycles, the latest being the Great Recession, there has been a fundamental and permanent shift to austerity for B2B buyers, and as a result, vendors must cost-justify solutions to ever more frugal decision makers," said Tom Pisello, Chairman and Founder of Alinean. "Even with a continued recovery through 2011, demand is higher than ever to arm marketing and sales enablement campaigns with diagnostic tools to help identify opportunities, recommend solutions, quantify the return on investment (ROI) and prove best value/lowest total cost of ownership (TCO) for proposed projects."
Alinean had other noteworthy accomplishments in 2010, including the:
- Launch of the Social Media ROI Calculator with ground breaking research on the benefits versus costs of social media marketing and the introduction of the Social Media Hierarchy of Needs™ best practices roadmap.
- Introduction of Interactive White Papers, in conjunction with IDC and Ziff Davis Enterprise, an interactive tool that uses a prospect's profile information to intelligently personalize the white paper content to make it more relevant and important to prospects.
- Creation of the Fight Frugalnomics™ resource center, an online library of articles, videos and webinars to help vendors understand the challenges facing frugal buyers, as well as the best practices and tools to address the need and "fight back."
- Listing to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private U.S. companies (inaugural ranking of 2942).
- Recognition as a 2011 Florida Companies to Watch award winner.
- Receipt of incentives from the city of Orlando and state of Florida, with the assistance of the Metro Orlando Economic Development Commission, to expand its operations in the city of Orlando.
