Advanzeon Solutions, Inc.'s Wholly-Owned Subsidiary Pharmacy Value Management Solutions, Inc. Signs Marketing Agreement With Jeff Liva & Co.
TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanzeon Solutions, Inc. (OTC:BB: CHCR), ("Advanzeon" or the "Company"), which provides behavioral health, wellness, pharmacy management services and sleep apnea programs, to employers, Taft-Hartley health and welfare funds, managed care companies throughout the U.S. today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pharmacy Value Management Solutions, Inc. ("PVMS"), has entered into a marketing agreement (the "Agreement") with Jeff Liva & Co. ("Dr. Liva"), whereby Dr. Liva, through his Preventive PLUS division will, among other things, introduce the Company's programs to his existing and potential clients and recommend the programs for inclusion in his clients' healthcare benefit packages. Forming the subject matter of the Agreement are PVMS' sleep apnea and pharmacy management services programs, and its parent company's behavioral health and wellness programs (collectively, the "Programs"). The Agreement became effective immediately upon signing last week and joint efforts between the two companies are set to commence this week.
Mark Heidt, President of Advanzeon Solutions, Inc., stated, "We are extremely excited about this new relationship with Dr. Liva, who is a national figure in healthcare specializing in the prevention of sleep apnea, among other areas of medicine. I believe this relationship dramatically advances the Company's ability to promote our sleep apnea program, as referenced in our release of August 6, 2014, and materially opens up distribution channels for our pharmacy management, behavioral health and wellness programs. We look forward to this collaboration, which starts immediately."
About Dr. Jeffrey F. Liva and Preventive PLUS, P.A.
Jeffrey F. Liva, M.D., M.P.H., M.S., established Preventive PLUS in 1987 to develop and implement disease prevention and health promotion programs for corporations. Dr. Liva is now a national leader in the field of disease prevention, behavioral health/wellness programs in the workplace and sleep apnea. Recognizing the growing problem of sleep apnea at both a commercial and non-commercial level and, further, anticipating sleep apnea becoming part of the Department of Transportation's ("DOT's") regulations of commercial drivers, Dr. Liva trained for and was successfully registered in the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners for evaluating DOT drivers. His registration is part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration program.
Dr. Jeffrey F. Liva, President of Preventive PLUS, stated, "This collaboration is...tremendously beneficial to both our organizations and our client companies. The complementary services offered by Advanzeon and Preventive PLUS will prove to enhance the health of our client organizations while simultaneously reducing healthcare costs. The ultimate results expected by the collaboration will be a sustainable healthcare model that will prove invaluable to our clients well into the future. We are extremely excited to begin the integration of our teams and services immediately." Dr. Liva went on to say, "Sleep apnea reportedly now affects approximately 46% of all interstate commercial drivers. Our ability to evaluate the data and make the appropriate referrals is critical to the drivers and to the general population, as well. It will save lives. We sought out the best, most non-intrusive sleep apnea program in the market. I am confident that the PVMS team, with its SleepWorks program, is the 'best of breed.' We look forward to working with them and we are confident in introducing them to our clients."
Dr. Liva's clients include Mercedes Benz, Greyhound, Academy Bus and Coach USA. Dr. Liva also serves as corporate medical director to numerous local corporations.
"We are honored to have been selected by Dr. Liva for introduction of our sleep apnea, pharmacy management, behavioral health and wellness programs to his clients. We expect this to be a long and mutually beneficial relationship, and we are confident of our being able to deliver to Dr. Liva's clients the highest standard of services and value," said Mark Heidt.
