ADP® Introduces Automated Filing Of Pennsylvania Local Services Tax For Small Businesses
RUN Powered by ADP® Clients Can Now Have PA LST Filed as a Tax at No Additional Cost
ROSELAND, N.J., April 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ADP®, a leader in small business human resource and payroll outsourcing solutions, today announced it can now process Pennsylvania Local Services Tax (PA LST) as a tax, rather than a voluntary deduction, for clients using its comprehensive human resource and payroll platform, RUN Powered by ADP®. PA LST is a payroll tax that is deducted from employees that work in the state of Pennsylvania and is used to support municipal services and school district funding.
"Managing PA LST compliance can be a complicated process, especially with employees who hold more than one job, or work in more than one Pennsylvania jurisdiction. ADP's latest enhancements to our powerful RUN payroll platform can help simplify our clients' tax administration and compliance obligations, at no additional cost, so they can focus on growing their business," said Anish Rajparia, President of ADP's Small Business Services Division.
With recent upgrades to the RUN Powered by ADP platform, which also includes live, 24/7 client support, ADP can now automatically withhold and make quarterly PA LST tax filings on behalf of its small business clients.
"ADP is committed to helping our clients better manage risk. By processing the PA LST quarterly filings on their behalf, we shoulder that responsibility and give back to our clients' time they can use more productively. In addition, the Document Vault within our RUN payroll platform provides small businesses innovative human resource management features that allow them to store, manage and access employee information and forms, such as PA LST verifications and certifications," Rajparia added.
