NEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AdoTube, the in-stream video advertising technology leader, announced the release of its Q3 2011 In-Stream Ad Format Index today. The index highlighted data around the growth of interactive in-stream video ad formats, which grew to account for 61% of ads served, while Pre-Rolls dropped to 10%.

In addition, AdoTube found surprising growth in Government advertising, which increased 152% on average over 2010. This growth was propelled by ads placed by or on behalf of 2012 presidential candidates. 2011 also saw a 212% increase in Food Service and a 61% increase in CPG advertisements served.
The index is the result of analysis on 6.5 billion impressions served across the AdoTube Network and provides an overview of the growth and effectiveness of different in-stream video ad formats across industry verticals.

- The Ad Selector exhibited a 65% View-Thru Rate, as well as an 80% retention rate
