Acrolinx Strengthens Executive Team, Appoints New Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Sales
Content optimization software provider attracts strategic new talent from Brightcove and Oracle
SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Acrolinx (http://www.acrolinx.com), a leading provider of content optimization software, today announced two strategic appointments to its management team as the company sets its sights on growth in 2015. Steve Rotter joins as chief marketing officer, and Ken Delaney joins as senior vice president of North American sales.
As CMO, Rotter will oversee global marketing, demand generation and communications strategies. A seasoned and proven data-driven marketing leader, Rotter comes to Acrolinx from Brightcove, where he was vice president of worldwide marketing. There, he led the company's global go-to-market strategy, product marketing, demand generation, field marketing and technology partnerships for five years and through its successful IPO. Prior to that, Rotter held senior marketing positions at Adobe Systems, Motorola and Q-Link Technologies.
As senior vice president of North American sales, Delaney is a 20+-year veteran of enterprise software with expertise in sales, channel and business development. He joins Acrolinx from Oracle, where he was the regional vice president of sales for its WebCenter products. Prior to that, Delaney was senior vice president of North American sales at FatWire Software, where he helped grow the business by 400 percent before the company was sold to Oracle.
"The business opportunity for content optimization is enormous as global enterprises struggle to speak with one voice across vast libraries of marketing and technical content," said Acrolinx CEO Kumar Vora. "Acrolinx has its sights set on extreme growth in 2015, and the strategic appointments of Rotter and Delaney are critical to achieving our goals."
