Aclara Technologies LLC Names New Chief Executive Officer and President

ST. LOUIS, May 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Allan Connolly, an operations and technology executive with broad global leadership experience, has been named Chief Executive Officer and President of Aclara Technologies LLC. Aclara is a leading provider of intelligent infrastructure technologies to water, gas and electric utilities.

Connolly joins Aclara^® from a position as Chief Operating Officer of Culligan^®, a world leader in the water treatment industry. Prior to his tenure at Culligan, where he spent 7 years in progressively more responsible leadership positions, he held executive and management roles with GE Energy and GE Global Research.

Connolly is charged with growing Aclara, a well-regarded brand in advanced metering infrastructure and the smart grid. He plans to make a fast start by identifying new opportunities that will benefit both existing and new customers.
