DALLAS, Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- For the 10th consecutive year, ACE Cash Express employees have participated in Junior Achievement's JA In A Day program. Volunteers spend a day at local schools to step into a teacher's shoes and deliver lessons about the importance of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and getting an education.
"Junior Achievement is a long-standing community service program with our employees," said Eric Norrington, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at ACE. "Each year we have many returning volunteers, some who have participated in the program for all 10 years."
In addition to contributing volunteer hours, ACE's annual donation of $25,000 supports Junior Achievement's mission to promote interactive financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship education.
"We are grateful for our partnership with ACE Cash Express. Their investment will allow us to reach over 750 students with JA curriculum focused on how money, careers and business ownership work. It is partners like them who make our student impact possible," said JA Dallas President, Jan Murfield.
ACE's charitable giving program, The Community Fund, is committed to empowering organizations that help children, provide education and promote financial literacy in the communities it serves. To date, the ACE Community Fund has donated more than $10 million to organizations across the nation.
