Able Health Care (NY) turns to Sandata for Mobile Strategy
Large NY agency expands EVV to include Sandata's Mobile Visit Verification and Point of Care Solutions
PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., Dec. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sandata Technologies, LLC, a leading national provider of information technology solutions to the home care industry, and the pioneer of EVV solutions, announces that Able Health Care Service – a prominent New York-based home care agency – will adopt its two newest mobile products: Santrax® Mobile Visit Verification ("MVV") and Santrax® Point of Care ("SPOC"). Able Health Care, founded over 40 years ago and now looking to transition to a fully mobile field solution, plans to go-live with the new platform in the first quarter of 2017.
Sandata's mobile platform continues to see high adoption rates with both Providers and Payers in the homecare market. MVV is a complementary solution to Sandata's industry-leading Electronic Visit Verification™ (EVV™) and is used by paraprofessional caregivers while delivering care in the home. With MVV, the caregiver is able to validate the care that is delivered in real-time, while validating adherence to the Plan of Care. MVV also gives the caregiver the ability to generate alerts based on change-in-condition of the patient, or health risks that are noted during the visit. Leveraging MVV, Able Health Care will have better visibility into the quality of care they are delivering, and also better visibility into the patient's health status.
SPOC is an advanced solution that allows clinical staff to go paperless and increase documentation timeliness and accuracy. With SPoC, Able Health Care will increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline their operation with this online solution. SPoC is powered by DeVero, Inc., a San Jose, CA based company.
David Birnbaum, Executive Vice President at Sandata, commented, "We are honored that Able has chosen us to further advance its care delivery with MVV and SPoC. Visit compliance will improve with MVV – caregivers will work more efficiently given our easy to use application. Leveraging the caregiver's phone, paper time sheets will be further reduced." "At the same time, SPoC will allow clinicians to eliminate paper with all forms now available remotely on any device, electronically and in real time, and offer office QA staff the ability to view and request changes back to them instantaneously and with a full audit trail," added Birnbaum.
Sandra Weintraub, Executive Director of Able Health Care, commented "Our aides just started using the MVV app, and immediately found it easy to use. We are highly enthusiastic about expanding to more of our team in the field."
Sandata has enjoyed strong demand for its new mobile workflow products, with national MCO Payers as well as Providers implementing MVV and SPoC at a quick pace. "We have seen overwhelming interest in our new clinical and non-clinical solutions for remote care management, which have been extremely well received in the market," said Birnbaum.
