9 out of 10 Consumers Prefer Property Listings Marketed with a Housefax® Report
WASHINGTON, Jan. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- According to a new study on the impact of Housefax Property History Reports® on home buyers, real estate agents who mention Housefax in their online listings increase consumer interest. The findings from the study revealed that nine out of 10 online home shoppers prefer a listing that is marketed with a free Housefax Property History Report over one that is not.
"Our findings show clear evidence that offering Housefax Reports creates more online engagement for a property," said Eddy Lang, CEO of Housefax. "In our study, when an online listing simply mentioned that a Housefax Report was available, there was a significant preference for the listing with the Housefax Report."
According to the National Association of Realtors, nine out of 10 home buyers today rely on the internet as one of their primary research sources, and 52 percent turn to the web as their first step. As a result, many consumers don't contact a real estate agent until they are far along in the house hunting process. A Housefax Report, which provides property specific information that can influence the buying decision, helps build consumer confidence and trust in the listing agent.
"Housefax Property History Reports are a great branding tool for agents who believe in transparency up front," said Andy Powell Realtor of Keller Williams Capital Properties. "Plus, with over two million real estate agents and brokers in the U.S., it's a great way to stand out from the competition."
