"The winners in each category understand the positive business impact of achieving high levels of employee engagement," said Barry Asin, president of Staffing Industry Analysts. "These companies have set the gold standard for inspiring their staff to perform at the highest level and have created an environment in which employees clearly see how their contributions add to the success of the company."
Almost 150 firms took part in the program this year, which was conducted for Staffing Industry Analysts by Quantum Workplace, an Omaha, NE-based company. Internal employees at each firm were asked to complete a 40-question online survey that measured 10 key engagement categories focusing on items including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits.
"Monster is proud to once again sponsor the Best Staffing Firms to Work For awards," said Jim Lanzalotto, Monster's senior vice president of staffing and health care. "These awards reinforce the staffing industry's commitment to maintaining a productive workplace where employees can thrive and deliver unparalleled value to their clients."
In order to gather statistically sound results, participating companies must have reached a minimum level of employee participation, based on the total number of employees. Companies were ranked in each size category according to their overall score. The total number of survey responses were also factored into the overall score. Winners were chosen based entirely on the survey results. For more information on the awards, go to http://bestfirms.staffingindustry.com/.
