HARRISBURG, Pa., Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Schedules, registration information, rules, and animal health requirements for the 2011 Pennsylvania Farm Show are now available in the 2011 Premium List, Agriculture Secretary Russell C. Redding said today.
The 2011 Farm Show will take place Saturday, Jan. 8 - Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center in Harrisburg.
Redding said the premium list is available at www.farmshow.state.pa.us by clicking the "'2011 Show" tab. "The Pennsylvania Farm Show is a one-of-a-kind showcase of the state's finest products, technology and food our agriculture industry has to offer," said Redding. "While the 2011 show will feature traditional events and displays, renovations to the complex coupled with a number of exciting new elements will enhance the Farm Show experience for visitors and exhibitors alike."
Entries are free for craft, family living and commodity departments. Minimal fees are required for open show animal entries, as well as the horse and pony pulling contests.
"Contests are open to all ages and levels of experience, so we invite all Pennsylvanians to enter their best products in the competition," said Redding.
