NEW YORK, Oct. 5, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 15 Seconds of Fame (15SOF) today announced a multi-year partnership with the National Hockey League (NHL) to deliver hockey fans their television appearances from all NHL game telecasts.
Starting with the 2017-18 NHL® Season, hockey fans at NHL arenas who download the free 15SOF app and appear on TV during an NHL game will receive their video on their phone upon completion of the game. The digital clip can then be shared across social media channels.
The agreement also provides 15SOF the ability to ingest and deliver fan TV moments from marquee events throughout the season, including the NHL® All-Star Game, NHL Stadium Series™ and the Stanley Cup® Playoffs.
"That once-in-a-lifetime moment, when a fan appears on TV while at their favorite team's game, is the most sought-after fan content in all of sports and entertainment," said Brett Joshpe, CEO of 15SOF. "Now these moments can be shared and kept, preserving life-long memories for fans and creating a valuable opportunity for brands to connect with their target audience in the most personal way possible."
15SOF is already delivering personal scoreboard moments to NHL fans through partnerships with individual teams around the league and has agreements with professional teams throughout the NFL, NBA and MLB, and select NCAA programs. 15SOF has also signed groundbreaking deals with Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM), the NFL and the Big Ten Network to provide fans with their TV moments from baseball, football and college football broadcasts. The unique platform has also been used for a variety of non-game live events, including concerts, festivals and races.
Fans can download the free 15SOF app using iTunes and Google Play, and can view the best fan highlights on the app, at 15sof.com and @15SOF.
