CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The top-10 finalists in the TUMS "Sing Your Heart(burn) Out" contest, a consumer-friendly promotion challenging the nation to submit its best video version of the TUMS jingle, were announced today. Fans are encouraged to vote for their favorite jingle as the 10 finalists will vie for the coveted role of grand marshal at the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on Oct. 30 at Martinsville Speedway.

"We had some fun and interesting renditions of the TUMS jingle which showcases the passion of our consumers and fans," said Ken Christensen, senior brand manager for TUMS. "The competition for the coveted grand marshal position will be stiff so we encourage fans to vote for their favorite."
Fans will make the ultimate selection of the best jingle by voting on www.facebook.com/TUMS until Thursday, Sept. 22. The 10 eligible finalists are:

- Tommy Beaumont from North Bergen, N.J.
- Ron and Judy Bonsall from Appomattox, Va.
- Hillman Edens from McColl, S.C.
- Connie and George Lampard from Greensboro, N.C.
- Ryan Kiefer from Brooklyn, N.Y.
- Tammy Lee from Brentwood, Calif.
- Omar Mendez from New Jersey
- Brent Morgan from Athens, Ala.
- Ashley Young from Ferrum, Va.
The winning participant will:
- Serve as the grand marshal at the TUMS Fast Relief 500 at Martinsville Speedway on Oct. 30, 2011. The grand marshal will give the most famous words in racing "Gentlemen, Start Your Engines."
- Lead a crowd of more than 60,000 people in singing the TUMS jingle at Martinsville Speedway.
- Receive a VIP experience including roundtrip air fare, three nights' accommodation, food and beverage for up to $5,000 and transportation to and from all TUMS Fast Relief 500 activities.
- Access for two to the TUMS suite for the TUMS Fast Relief 500.
- The winning jingle will be featured in a radio spot that will air on Motor Racing Network's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race broadcast on Oct. 30.
