Ziqitza Healthcare Enters Limca Book of Records 2016 for Conducting the Highest Number of FRPs in Punjab
CHANDIGARH, India, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --
Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd (ZHL), a leading EMS provider in India, recently entered the Limca Book of Records 2016 for conducting the highest number of First Responder Programs (FRPs) in the country. The FRPs were conducted in Punjab where ZHL manages the PPP model Dial 108 service.
The EMS provider trained 14,012 participants in 183 batches in one year (July 2014-June 2015) during the First Aid Responder Programme (FRP) workshops, carried out all over Punjab. They trained people on general principles and methods of first aid that can come in handy during medical emergencies such as burn cases, heart attacks, road accidents, snake bites, wound dressings, etc.
Mr. Naresh Jain, CEO, Ziqitza Healthcare commented on the record, "We plan to reach out to more people throughout the country with our FRPs. Our aim is to serve people across all walks of life and an inevitable role is played by the employees and workforces who aid in facilitating the service. The Limca Book of Records is a feather in our cap and demonstrates our commitment in providing the best pre-hospital care to people."
This comes as a relief to the pre-hospital space where often people don't know how to respond in emergency situations like accidents and medical emergencies. These First Aid Responder Programme (FRP) workshops are aimed at bridging the gap in knowledge and lack of experience among people.
