XCMG's Signature Products Unveiled at Bauma Africa in Johannesburg
JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- XCMG, the world's fifth largest construction equipment company, is showcasing its signature products at the Bauma Conexpo Africa in Johannesburg, South Africa from September 15 to 18.
Held by Munich International Expo Group, this international trade fair for construction machinery and vehicles aims to meet the robust demand of the African market.
The signature XCMG products taking the center stage at Bauma Africa include various models of truck cranes, crawler excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders and skip steer loaders, all targeted for the African market.
XCMG has been the No.1 supplier worldwide for the mobile crane sector for years and the cranes displayed at this exhibition represent the most advanced technology in the field. The QY30K5-I truck crane is a good example; it has incorporated a series of new technologies like an embedded slider, dodecagon-section boom and load sensor system to enhance performance and improve efficiency.
While XCMG is already one of the largest construction equipment suppliers in Africa, the company has kept learning more about this market. Participating in Bauma Africa to engage more local users is among the most important tasks.
XCMG's exports to Africa are essential for developing countries to complete their infrastructure construction, which also brings job opportunities, makes tax contributions and drives the development of the local supply chain.
XCMG has supplied complete sets of equipment to the Mombasa-Nairobi Railway, machinery to Ethiopia and 100-meter aerial platform fire trucks to Angola as well as factory equipment to Nigeria.
Now two branches of XCMG are operating in Ghana and Guinea along with 25 distribution outlets and 20 spare parts centers across Africa, with new distribution centers in Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal expected to open in late 2015. The company also plans to set up six training centers in Africa to offer a comprehensive service.
"Quality is the lifeline of our company. We are working to become a leading engineering machinery manufacturer and solutions provider worldwide, and by expanding our market in Africa, African countries can achieve their construction goals efficiently, and China-Africa friendship is strengthened through extensive collaborations," said Liu Jiansen, general manager of Import and Export Co., Ltd. of XCMG.
