Strategic Purchase Marks Vaco's First International Acquisition
NASHVILLE, Tennessee, March 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Vaco, a leading human capital and project services firm focusing in the areas of executive search, finance, accounting, IT and administration, has acquired the managed services division of Binary Semantics, an India-headquartered software development and systems integration company. Together, these two companies will form an international powerhouse that offers services such as advertising & digital content creation, content sourcing, data and content curation, validation and verification, technology operations, software development, QA testing, machine learning and data analytics.
This acquisition marks Vaco's fourth purchase over the last 18 months and reflects clients' increasing thirst for Vaco's robust managed services, business process and technology outsourcing operations. The addition increases Vaco's projected 2017 revenue to $420 million. This expansion into the world's third largest economy allows Vaco to provide enhanced content marketing solutions to top-tier media companies.
"Vaco is built on collaboration and diversity of thought. The Binary Semantics team absolutely embodies that and brings, as an added bonus, a strong and deep presence in one of the most dynamic markets in the world! Our 7,000 + clients compete on an increasingly connected and interdependent planet, and it is a tremendous honor to offer more and more ways to contribute to their success," said Jerry Bostelman, Vaco CEO and Founder.

"Establishing a presence in the India market allows us to provide consistent, non-stop project support at home and abroad. With boots on the ground in India, we are better positioned to continue this international growth trajectory."
For more than 30 years, Binary Semantics has successfully provided large-scale outsourcing services to technology and media organizations across the globe. Coupled with Vaco's deep domain expertise in more specialized outsourcing solutions for projects involving content marketing and advertising, this partnership will increase both companies' managed services capabilities.
Jim Jhanda, Managing Partner at Vaco, said, "This transition sharpens our focus on growing Vaco's core managed services capabilities to a global scale. We believe there is a significant opportunity to accelerate future growth with our existing US clients with this expanded reach. We look forward to working with the excellent Binary management team to continue to invest in and grow the company."
Akhil Choudhary, CEO of Binary Semantics, said, "Combining our capabilities with those of Vaco provides a unique opportunity to streamline services through shortened scale-up times and improved capabilities for business continuity across different geographies and around the clock operations across different time zones.
