UBM India - host of CPhI/P-MEC India, the world's leading pharma trade show and conference - launched the maiden edition of its second pharma show in India, PharmaLytica 2014. The event is ongoing at BIEC, Bengaluru and is scheduled from 25-27 September 2014.

The show was inaugurated by the following dignitaries who were present at the event - Sri Raghurama Bhandari, The Drugs Controller for the State of Karnataka, Mr. Jatish Seth, President KDPMA, Sri M.Maheshwar Rao IAS, Commissioner for Industrial Development & Director of Industries and Commerce, Government of Karnataka and Mr Milind Dixit, Sr. Group Director - UBM India Pvt. Ltd.
The second day saw the pharma leaders conclave wherein a lot of discussions were held in the following subjects by industry leaders - Generics - development challenges, scale up from lab to pilot for bio batches, technology transfer to manufacturing requirements/packing requirements for Analytical - Quality/Control Assurance - CAPA deviation Management, APR, regulatory audits, quality issues through case studies. PharmaLytica 2014, along with the exhibition and conference, saw a congregation of R&D heads and decision makers from pharmaceuticals, contract research, clinical trials, and biotechnology.
