India Nuclear Energy 2014, the three-day (6th - 8th November 2014) nuclear show hosted by UBM India, commenced today at Nehru Centre. The show, which is India's largest civil nuclear event, is recognised as an integral part of the power industry in India by the associations and the industry at large.

India Nuclear Energy 2014 is one of the largest civil nuclear exhibitions in Asia. The first day of the sixth edition of India Nuclear Energy 2014 proved that nuclear energy is the need of the hour, no matter how the economy is, with exhibitors from across the globe, like France, UK, Canada, Korea and USA in addition to India, showcasing their products and technologies for the civil nuclear industry.
The grand inauguration of India Nuclear Energy 2014 was represented by industry dignitaries like Mr. S.A. The event was marked by a summit based on the theme of 'Nuclear Power: Global and Indian Perspective', setting the stage for the policy 'think-tanks' to further chart India's role as a growing civil nuclear power.
The event was also marked by an informative seminar based on collaboration between India and the UK, in partnership with the UK Trade and Investment and the British High Commission.
