With over 33 million music videos created and 1 million music videos made in a single day, Triller has turned into a cultural phenomenon. Celebrities such as Kevin Hart, Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Russell Simmons, and Rita Ora have made Triller videos, and artists from Charlie Puth to Jadakiss to X Ambassadors have run successful fan contests using Triller. For Leiberman, Rubin, and Tilley, Android was the next logical step. Says Rubin, "Android was the number one thing Triller fans requested in feedback emails. And every post on Instagram had dozens of 'We want Android!' comments."
Triller's Android app is available in over 140 countries, including major music markets India, Japan, Germany, and Malaysia. In Malaysia, Triller is already in the Top 50 overall on the App Store, an indication of strong overseas potential. Says Leiberman, "We're excited to make Triller available to so many more people globally with Android, and we can't wait to see the videos people create around the world."
The Triller team built the app from scratch for Android. Its stylish filters, zooming capability, and manual edit feature offer unlimited creative possibilities. For iPhone, the updated version of the Triller iOS app features Triller's first-ever filter packs, "Colors" and "Classic." In addition, the new version has gorgeous design tweaks that further enhance Triller's beautiful look and feel. The app is also now optimized for iPad as well as iPad Pro.
"I've already been blown away by the creative videos users have made with Triller," says Colin Tilley. "Now that it's reaching a whole new audience, it's just gonna take it to the next level."
