The CHINT International Marketing Forum Debuts in Europe with CHINT displaying two flagship brands at the Hannover Fair
HANNOVER, Germany, April 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The 6th CHINT International Marketing Forum, held in Germany from April 13-17, 2015, brings together over 200 distributors from all around the world, including Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. During the event, new products marketed under CHINT's two flagship brands, CHINT and NOARK, will be displayed.
The Forum serves as an important platform where CHINT can promote its international strategy. In 2005, the inaugural CHINT International Marketing Forum was held in the eastern Chinese city of Wenzhou, where the company was founded. This pioneering event was dubbed by the media as the "Annual Meeting of the United Nations Wenzhou" for being the first convention to have so many participants from abroad. Since then, CHINT has further strengthened the cooperation with its overseas customers while enhancing its international influence as a result of continuously hosting the event, and has become a platform through which overseas companies can invest in China and Chinese companies can "go global."
Industry analysts pointed out that CHINT has chosen the Hannover Fair, the world's most influential industrial fair, as the host venue to showcase its products. The two actions demonstrate the private Chinese company's long-standing commitment and its strength in creating a world-class brand as it helps China to become an industrial powerhouse.
CHINT chairman Nan Cunhui said in his keynote speech: "The win-win cooperation with global partners is one of CHINT's key goals as the company accelerates the globalization of its brand." He also reaffirmed that the group has prioritized its globalization strategy as the next stage of development.
CHINT International Marketing Forum, which has run for six consecutive years, helps CHINT establish an outstanding worldwide marketing network and generate income. CHINT now has eight subsidiaries and over 40 sales organizations in more than 80 countries as well as logistics bases worldwide. In 2014, CHINT realized a sales value of 35 billion yuan (approx. US$5.6 billion), while its exports totaled 6 billion yuan (approx. US$ 965 million), accounting for 17 percent of total sales of the year. CHINT also acquired a PV module manufacturing plant in Frankfurt-on-Oder, Germany from Conergy, a world leader in the solar market.
In addition to discuss about future development plans between CHINT's management and its global dealers, the launch events for new CHINT and NOARK-branded products were held during the event, where leading international experts gathered to provide insights on, among other current topics, the trends in energy development and Industry 4.0. challenges and opportunities. Attendees also made visits to the Conergy plant in Frankfurt-on-Oder and to NOARK Europe's operations in Prague.
At the 2002 CCTV Top Economic People of China' award ceremony 13 years ago, the CHINT chairman said, "I hope CHINT can become a leading brand in the global electrical market in the near future." Those words are prescient today as he has proved to the world the capabilities of Chinese manufacturers in competing on the international stage.
