TAITRA Organizes Computex Taipei, eCommerce and TAITRONICS 2016 With new Themes and Exhibits

Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) organize Computex Taipei, e-Commerce and TAITRONICS shows in Taipei. Taiwan has the knack of turning adversity into advantage in everything from bicycles to ICT where it holds significant global market share.
Computex Taipei is the 2nd largest Computer and Technology Trade Show in the world and the largest in Asia in terms of participation of members from various organizations.
Computex Taipei is scheduled to take place from May 31st to June 4th, 2016 at Taipei, Taiwan. TAITRONICS and eCommerce are scheduled to take place from October 6th to October 9th, 2016 at Taipei, Taiwan.
The announcement press conference was held in Bangalore today and addressed by Mr. Balaram Menon, President, World Trade Center, Bangalore; Mr. Kang Yih-Jyh, Executive Director, Exhibition Dept, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA); Mr. George Lin, Director, Taipei World Trade Center, Chennai; Mr. Welber Wang, Project Manager, Exhibition Dept., TAITRA; Mr. Dave Tsai, Senior Project Manager, Exhibition Dept., TAITRA; representative from Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK); representative from Laghu Udyog Bharati-Karnataka; representative from India Manufacturing Show Foundation (IMS Foundation); representative from India Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA) and pioneers from other industries attended the conference.
Computex Taipei resets its position each year in response to the rapid development of the ICT industry and reorganizes the exhibition areas accordingly. The positing of the 2016 show is 'Building Partnerships in Internet Computing Ecosystems with main focuses on IoT applications, innovative startups and business solutions', focusing on IoT applications, innovation and startups and business solutions. In order to highlight IoT applications and startup, Computex has created two new exhibits, SmarTEX and InnoVEX. The two exhibits have already received a lot of buzz from the domestic and overseas business.
Computex Taipei is now Asia's largest and the world's second largest ICT show. The approaching Computex 2016, builds upon incredible record scale that hit 5,072 booths in 2015 to make it one of Asia's top ICT shows. This year Computex is going to focus on the participation of startups from India.
TAITRONICS provides an in-inclusive platform for industry leaders and professionals to come together. Under the theme 'New Technology, New Applications, the TAITRONICS 2016', it is adding 4 new themes - Medical Care, Smart manufacturing, New Ventures and Robotics and Unmanned Vehicles, to create a more comprehensive trade show that welcomes industry innovation.
TAITRONICS 2015 joined 536 exhibitors to use 1,047 booths to welcome 120 exhibitors, including overseas buyers. And those from India were the 4th largest International component. TAITRONICS 2016 runs in conjunction with eCommerce 2016.
eCommerce builds upon its previous show that generated US$40 million in business. One can discover many new products, technology and inventions from this platform. eCommerce forums in 2015 were led by speakers from Facebook, Google, Yandex, Yahoo and Twitter.
