"SParc is one of the many ways that we can make a difference to the world around us. And it is our unique difference which is why we needed our unique platform. SPJIMR is building upon its strengths and taking these strengths to another level. It looks new as we are doing a few things differently but the core is same," Dr. Banerjee added.
He said, SParc will "grow in surprising ways because it is important and meaningful."
Mr. Rajiv Sethi, alumnus of the very first batch (1983 MMS) of SPJIMR, who was at the inaugural SParc event, said, "Truly inspiring! Every speaker was of high calibre. These were extraordinary success stories with a liberal amount of social responsibility as the essence."
About SParc:
SParc, an initiative by SPJIMR, is a series of talks to bring alive tales of courage and heart. SParc provides a unique platform to showcase these inspirational stories and enable others to learn from them.
Courage is the ability to do something you believe in - standing up for a passion, a cause or negotiating an obstacle. SParc is also about heart - caring for people and issues beyond you and your immediate needs or concerns.
