Unique in its nature, a public private partnership in India - The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), has been working towards the mission of skill development of Indian youth. The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a non-profit making organization set up by the Ministry of Finance to up-skill the people of India. The organization aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality, for-profit vocational institutions. To fulfil this objective, the company has set a mission of up-skilling 150 million people in India by 2022. Recently, Pune's SEED Infotech Ltd has signed an agreement with NSDC to be a part of this skill development mission through its vast network of training centers. The agreement was signed by Mr. Shrikant Rasane, Co-Founder & Director - SEED Infotech Ltd. and Mr. Dilip Chenoy (MD & CEO, NSDC), in presence of Mr. Narendra Barhate, MD & CEO - SEED Infotech Ltd and Mr. Prakash Sharma (CFO, NSDC) in Delhi.
With NSDC association, various Skill Enhancement Training Programs are now available in all SEED Infotech Training Centers. To name a few related to the IT field are Software Development, Software Testing, Hardware and Networking, Telecom - Mobile and new programs such as Mechatronics, Healthcare and BFSI will also be launched considering the current market requirements. These courses can be pursued by Engineers (BE/B.Tech.), Diploma students, BCS, MCS, B(Sc.) IT, BCA, MCA who are currently pursuing their graduation as well as those who have completed their graduation. All other undergraduates who are aspiring to be a professional in these sectors can also join these programs.
