Rajat Modwel named Chief Executive Officer of RTI Global India
NEW DELHI, Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Rajat Modwel has been named chief executive officer of Research Triangle Institute Global India, a wholly owned subsidiary of RTI International.
To help India address development challenges, RTI maintains a permanent presence in India. RTI experts serve clients in air, water, sanitation, energy, health, skills and education by providing quality research and impact evaluation, developing and supporting the commercialization of innovative technologies, and providing project implementation support to drive sustainable impact.
Modwel joins RTI from McKinsey & Company where he was Senior Vice President at the Centre for Government & Public Enterprises based in India. His prior experience spans government (in the Indian Administrative Service), management consulting and industry.

Modwel has experience across global markets in developing and delivering strategic, governance and organizational solutions and driving business operations. While at McKinsey he engaged on cities, transportation, education, regulatory policy and infra finance. He served previously at Prometric, Hay Group, American Express and the Government of Rajasthan, and started his career as a lecturer of economics at the University of Delhi.
He has received an MBA from the London Business School, an MA in economics from the Delhi School of Economics and a BA in economics from St Stephen's College, University of Delhi.
