QAI launches its Design Practice, which has allied tools central to it for solving complex problems using a human-centred approach to explore ideal future states with the end user or the customer in mind, first and foremost.
The motivation for launching this practice is the increase in designer to developer ratio in an organisation, for marrying design thinking with agile development and the lean startup approach, and for creating a wholesome service design practice.
In last half decade, Design Thinking has been adopted in organisations across the board. Companies like Google, Walmart, Accenture, P&G, Airbnb and many others follow these techniques to build superior products and services by implementing Service Design methodologies. In a survey conducted by Gartner, 89% companies believed customer experience will be the primary basis for competition by 2016. That is pretty much the reality today.
QAI has enrolled Sudhindra V, former Chief Design Officer at IBM, as QAI's Designer in-residence; who is also the Founder and CEO of the new-age design studio, Design.Unbounded, an organisation dedicated to bridging the gap between knowledge and action. He is the author of the book 'Design Chronicles - Design is an attitude'. He has been in the field for over 18 years and has conducted 100+ workshops mostly involving very senior leaders, including C level folks from various organisations.
QAI launches Design Thinking with two courses; Design Thinking for Digital Experiences and Service Design Thinking.
These trainings will be conducted in Delhi and Bangalore last week of July and early August.
