The winners were Bijal Chudgar and Umang Shah from iGATE Global Solutions for their paper titled "Using Causal Analysis and Resolution to Improve Test Case Adequacy from 4.09% to 5.2% and Optimize Testing Efforts by 40% in V&V projects".
The 1st runner up position was awarded to Nakkina Chandramouli and Piyush Prabhakar from Fujitsu Consulting for "Applying CMMI for SVC High Maturity Concepts to improve Customer Satisfaction".
The 2nd runner up were K. Sravan Kumar and Shanup Damodar from Blue Star Infotech for their paper "High Maturity Value-Generation Leveraging Balanced Scorecard - Strategy for Synergy".
Best of the Best Award - Bangalore
The winners were Sudhir Bhavasar, Srikar Reddy and Raghavendra Rao A from HCL Financial Services for their paper "Beyond Compliance - Business Optimization using HMP".
The runner up position was jointly awarded to L. Vedavalli and Yamani Naveen Kumar of Cognizant Technology Solutions for their paper "CEED in Agile Projects" and Rahul Ghodke of Microland Ltd. for his paper titled "The "3A" Mantra - Leveraging Analytics, Automation and Assurance for achieving high maturity".
HMBP 2013 received author intent submissions by professionals from numerous organizations and institutions to compete for the awards at the conference. After detailed paper evaluation rounds by internal technical review committee, a subset of these submissions was shortlisted for presentation at the conference. The external jury team then reviewed the presentations and selected the winner in-person at the conference.
