Honorable Union Minister of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Prakash Javadekar Sends a Special Message to Budding Professionals From the Academy

The Guests of Honor at the well-attended convocation ceremony were the District Magistrate, New Delhi, Mr Abhishek Singh and noted social worker, designer, writer, and craft activist Ms. Laila Tyabji. The Guests of Honor along with Group Chairman - Pearl Global Industries, Mr Deepak Seth and Ms Nandita Abraham, CEO, Pearl Academy felicitated 847 students from Delhi NCR (west & east) campuses of the institution for successful completion of their professional courses. Union Minister of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Shri Prakash Javadekar sent a special message to Pearl Academy students. He congratulated students for all the hard work and lauded Pearl Academy for imparting quality education. Also present on the occasion were Former Home Secretary, Mr Vinod Duggal and CEO Monash University South Africa, Mr Sharad Mehra.

The year gone by also witnessed a very successful pre-placement drive, with more than 97 percent of students securing job offers from various corporates and designer brands. Recruiters such as IBM, SpiceJet, H&M, Shoppers Stop, Aditya Birla Online Fashion (abof.com) and Louis Vuitton were amongst over 600 leading brands, which visited the campus to recruit the young creative professionals from the batch of 2016.
Pearl Academy saw a growth of over 20% in recruiting companies visiting the campus to hire professionals than the previous year. The institution successfully placed its students in the new sectors like IT, aviation and hospitality for the first time since its inception 23 years ago. Companies such as IBM, SpiceJet and Pullman Hotels were among the recruiters in these sectors.
