netCORE Solutions, an enterprise communication and digital marketing solutions company, today announced that its result-driven rural mobile marketing campaign for HUL Active Wheel has won two Golds in back-to-back industry award functions: Gold Award in the Mobile Media category at the DMAi's Echo Awards 2013 and another Gold in the SMS/IVR category at the Campaign India Digital Crest Awards 2013.
The missed call campaign for HUL's Active Wheel had an ambitious goal: penetrating consumers in the media-dark and interior villages of Bihar and other rural areas throughout India in a cost effective manner. The crux of the campaign was based on the increasing customer engagement. The aim of the campaign was to reach consumers in media dark villages with a population of about ten thousand and bring about brand awareness of Hindustan Unilever's Active Wheel detergent.
The campaign was one of HUL's most successful mobile marketing campaigns in the entire Asia Pacific region.
