James Named CEO, King to Fill New Chairman Position

James has become CEO and a member of M*Modal's Board of Directors, replacing Vern Davenport, who has chosen to leave the company. The company also expanded its leadership team, naming Graham O. King as its new Chairman of the Board.

Prior to leading QuadraMed, James was Group President at McKesson Corporation for nearly a decade. He has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare information and technology industries, including domestic and international operations, strategic planning, sales and marketing, and product management.
M*Modal's new Chairman of the Board Graham King is a long-time healthcare industry leader and strategic consultant, formerly head of the two largest healthcare information technology companies in the world, Share Medical Systems (now part of Siemens Corporation) and HBOC (now part of McKesson Corporation). He has also served as a director on the boards of seven companies, most of which were publicly owned and technology based across industries such as healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, real estate, and retail.
In related moves, M*Modal also announced that Ron Scarboro, Chief Financial Officer, is appointed Chief Operating Officer of M*Modal. He replaces Amy Amick, who has decided to leave the company. David Woodworth, currently Vice President, Finance, will assume the role of Acting CFO. All changes are effective immediately.
