Lenovo's Legion of Champions III India Winners Announced

Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY), the world's leading PC and smart device manufacturer, in association with Intel, today announced the local winners of its third edition of e-sport tournament 'Legion of Champions' (LoC). The tournament ran over three weeks and was concluded on December 24, 2018. White Shadows emerged winners out of the 58 teams who were part of the India tournament along with Team9 and Entity Gaming who held the first and second runner-up spots respectively. The winning teams will receive a cash prize of USD 500, USD 250 and USD 150 respectively.
White Shadows would now be representing India in the grand finale, which will be held in Central Plaza Ladprao, Bangkok, from 25-27 January, 2019. This is the first time India will be participating in the tournament along with other first-time competitors such as Japan and Korea, in addition to Hong Kong / Macau, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
The winners of the finale would be awarded with USD$7,000 and USD$5,000 worth of Legion Y530 notebooks, while the first and second runners-up will take home awards worth USD$3,000 and USD$2,000, respectively.
