KOLKATA, India and THIMPHU, Bhutan, Sept. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital data services company iMerit has opened a delivery center in Thimphu, Bhutan. The company provides tech-enabled data services for applications in areas like Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, e-commerce and Fintech.
The center is located at Thimphu TechPark, the country's first IT Park. It was inaugurated by Lyonpo Ugyen Dorji, the Minister of Labor & Human Resources in a traditional ceremony also attended by Indian Ambassador to Bhutan, Ruchira Kamboj.
The Minister said, "I am pleased to witness the growth of iMerit in a short time frame and I hope that they will continue to develop the talent pool in Bhutan. Our government is keen to promote good careers in technology and we are here to help and support iMerit's vision."
