Arogya World - the global health non-profit organization, conducted the first edition of this survey in India as part of the Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action leveraging workplaces as platforms for wellness advancement and chronic disease prevention.

The Healthy Workplace criteria were organized into three levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold - and included work-life balance and shifting mind-set metrics, in addition to a workplace no-tobacco-use policy, as well as ready access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity. iGATE was assessed by a three-person team that scored the company's activities including site visits.
