Honor Takes the Offline Route to Strengthen its Presence in India

Honor Moves Beyond E-commerce and Shakes Hands With Sangeetha Mobiles
Honor, an independent Internet smartphone brand under Huawei Terminals, today announced its entry in the Indian retail market. Honor has already gained customers across the country through its online sales partner Flipkart. To further strengthen its presence in India, Honor partners with Sangeetha, one of the largest mobile phone retailing chain in South India. This deal reiterates the importance of India as its priority market for Honor and is expected to catalyze Honor's goal of clocking 10x sales in 2015.
This association with Sangeetha Mobiles will be marked with the sale of one of the best-selling smartphone 'Honor Holly', allowing the customers to touch and feel Honor devices. The alliance will begin with the sale of Honor Holly priced at Rs. 7,999 that would be available in Sangeetha stores, which has a network of 320 stores present across four states, namely, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala with 60% of the stores present in Bangalore. The smartphone would be available at an inaugural offer of 20% cashback, also allowing customers to get a brand new Reliance dongle along with the phone at an additional 1 rupee.
