NEW DELHI, March 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Honor, the global leading digital brand for the mobile generation has executed an innovative campaign #TestOfHonor, to showcase the exceptional battery life of the to-be-launched Honor 4X. Viewers have to call on the number - 07045386911, which dials into a fully-charged Honor 4x smartphone, and the battery is tested with the number of calls the phone can take, without any recharge. The contest, run via Youtube feed, shows the phone live, and viewers have to keep dialing in, for as long as the phone's battery lasts. The last person to call till the battery lasts, would win a free Honor 4X smartphone. The idea behind this interactive activity is to let the users know the exceptional battery life of Honor 4x.
Speaking about the campaign, Wang Gudong, President, India Device Business Department, Huawei, said, "Our strategy is to offer the best-in-class smartphones offering the best technology, design and user-interface, to offer unmatched value to our customers. We will be promoting the Honor brand via exciting 360-degree marketing campaigns. We plan to aggressively grow our market share in India in 2015, and will be launching exciting smartphones in the coming month, which will be followed by more exciting new models."
Mobile phones have evolved over the years in design, and the technology they pack. From bulky feature phones, the size of a cordless phone to state-of-the-art smartphones that pack compact, super-fast processors, high-definition cameras and crystal clear, durable displays. Today, batteries are one of the most important aspects of a phone. The ability to talk for hours with your loved ones or play your favourite games without worrying too much about the battery back-up is a great facet of today's feature-rich phones. Mobile phone users take pride in owning smartphones that have a strong battery life.
Honor has established itself as a brand across a number of markets in parts of the world, which gives users a premium, one-of-a-kind smartphone experience. The brand is known to conduct unique trials which test the various aspects of their range of phones. With this #TestofHonor campaign, Honor plans to promote one of its biggest USP's i.e. battery back-up.
Battery is one department the brand strongly focuses on, to provide a strong back-up which supports the performance and multi-tasking requirements of the user. You can watch the live streaming of the #TestOfHonor here.
