The report estimates Ameyo's market share to be 3.1% in terms of contact center agent license shipments by manufacturer. With this, Ameyo has emerged as a strong contender in the contact center marketplace, thereby strengthening its presence in the APAC region. The top three rank holders combined account for nearly 58% of agent license shipments in the region.

According to the report, "The Asia/Pacific market experienced a decline in agent shipments in 2014 relative to 2013. This decline was driven by slower market performance in major markets, where economic deceleration tempered investments and Western vendors are finding it increasingly difficult to do business; and also due to slowdown in purchase cycles resulting from economic uncertainty experienced in the latter half of 2013."
Gartner's report ranked 10 contact center vendors based on total agent shipment market share and growth from the year 2013 to 2014. It is for the first time that Ameyo has got an entry in to this list and is placed at number 9 in the report.
