The European Business Group (EBG) and the British Business Group (BBG) recently organized a panel discussion 'Dateline Delhi' in the capital. In this year's edition, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, M P for Thiruvananthapuram, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs, Mr. Swapan Dasgupta, Senior Indian journalist and M P (Rajya Sabha), Mr. Anil Padmanabhan, Chief of Bureau at Mint, Mr. Douglas Busvine, New Delhi Bureau Chief at Thomson Reuters, Mr. Pranjal Sharma - Commentator, analyst, advisor on economy, globalisation and media participated in the discussion on current affairs. Raman Sidhu, Chairman, European Business Group Federation (EBG), India welcomed the chief guest and other panelists and said it is yet another successful edition of 'Dateline Delhi' which has evolved into a prestigious platform to share important and relevant opinions.
'Dateline Delhi' has been a well-received annual EBG-BBG event from the very first time it was held in the year 2000. Over the years the evening has evolved into a platform for respected voices to share their opinions with representatives of Indian and European businesses, as well as policy makers, on subjects ranging from governance, policy and the economy.
