DELHI, August 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Every packing and moving company has been using wooden crates to transport customer's highly valued LED TVs. The normal packing process involves the following four steps: 1) wrapping of LED TV by bubble wrap, 2) subsequent wrapping by thermocol sheets, 3) additional protection by wrapping the TV in a corrugated sheet, and finally 4) packing the LED TV in a wooden crate.

The final step involves hammering of nails into the wooden crate and approximately 40-45 blows are applied to close the openings. On an average, each blow reduces the life of an LED TV by a month, as it leads to minor rupture of the TV's fine circuitry, reducing the TV's life drastically up to 50%. So, each shifting reduces your product's life by 4-5 years against the 9 years warranty given by the TV manufacturers.
This may seem fictitious to some of you, but it is true and is equivalent to murdering your TV without realising it.
To address the plight of the people who shift and unknowingly suffer from getting their priced possession slaughtered silently, Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd. (APML) has devised a novel way to transport TVs with the help of LED Boxes. This has been developed after getting feedback from the clients and extensive research done thereafter. These boxes are solid from outside and soft from inside. There is a strong layer of foam inside, which provides a special cushion effect and strong grip to your TV screen.
Now the new way of packing TV involves only two steps 1) wrapping of LED TV in bubble wrap 2) subsequent packing in the LED TV Box.
The cost of manufacturing LED TV Boxes is Rs. 2500 and it could be used for 13-15 times on an average, which makes it substantially cost effective at Rs. 200 to each client.
On the other hand, wooden crates cost Rs. 800 and are not reusable. Use of wooden crates also meant that 160 trees were cut annually to manufacture them, thus having an adverse impact on the environment.
Our mission was to achieve 'Zero Claims, Zero Tension,' i.e., minimize the number of claims, and reduce the stress level of our clients, thereby improving organizational productivity and customer satisfaction.
