Canadian university leaders in India to learn about country's post-secondary education initiatives

OTTAWA, Ontario, May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- University leaders from across Canada, who are members of The Conference Board of Canada's Quality Network for Universities (QNU), are learning first-hand about India's ambitious growth plans for higher education and how Canadian institutions can anticipate opportunities and challenges.
The visit, which began in New Delhi on April 27 and continues in Mumbai and Bangalore through May 3, is exploring how Canada can leverage its universities to engage in learning, research, and business partnerships that will yield results for both countries.
