Cambridge Institute of Technology (CITech.) Collaborates with Saint-Gobain for ML & IOT projects
BANGALORE, India, April 29, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Cambridge Institute of Technology has completed Phase - 1 of the 'Video Analytics' project with the collaboration of the renowned French multinational corporation, Saint-Gobain. Students of the Cambridge Institute of Technology have developed a Machine Learning Model to check whether the Saint Gobain employees are wearing the safety equipment or not. The frequent cause of casualties in the workplace is failing to wear the safety equipment and the majority of these injuries can be prevented if workers wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment. A Machine Learning model has been developed at CITech using a Vision-based approach to analyse record images or videos to verify PPE compliance.
