First Successful Four-Way Kidney Exchange Completed Within Two Months Of International Implementation
TOTOWA, New Jersey, June 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BiologicTx® today announced that their Paired Donation Software, BiologicTx MatchGrid™, has been implemented internationally at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia under the supervision of Dr. Khlaid Almeshari, Transplant Nephrologist and Immunologist and Chairman of the Committee for Paired Kidney Donation and HLA and ABOi Kidney Transplantation. Since MatchGrid's implementation on April 1, 2016, the King Faisal Hospital has been able to identify and successfully complete their first 4-way kidney exchange as a result of the software.
